  • Investigated two knowledge distillation techniques to assess whether smaller models can achieve performance comparable to large language models with hundreds of millions of parameters.
  • Developed two distilled monolingual BERT models, including pre-training and fine-tuning on Bengali language datasets.

Assessing the Impact of Digital Technology on Mental Health

  • Designed a 38-question survey to analyze technology usage and its impact on mental health, collecting 624 responses via Google Forms.
  • Applied machine learning algorithms to classify mental states into three categories using selected features.
  • Performed feature selection and hyperparameter tuning to improve model performance.
  • Employed LIME (Local Interpretable Model-Agnostic Explanations) to interpret and explain model predictions.
