Hyperspectral Imaging · Video Understanding · Multimodal Learning
I’m currently working as a Research Assistant at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, under the supervision of Dr. Shafin Rahman.
My research focuses on three primary directions: (1) Hyperspectral Imaging, including spectral unmixing-aware classification, test-time adaptation under distribution shifts, and cross-domain few-shot learning; (2) Video Understanding, particularly online temporal action localization in egocentric procedural videos; and (3) Trustworthy Multimodal Learning, focusing on the evaluation and trustworthiness of Unified Multimodal Models (UMMs).
About
Background
I’m currently a Research Assistant at North South University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, under the supervision of Dr. Shafin Rahman. My research spans three main directions: (1) Hyperspectral Imaging, including spectral unmixing-aware classification, test-time adaptation under distribution shifts, and cross-domain few-shot learning; (2) Video Understanding, focusing on online temporal action localization in egocentric procedural videos; and (3) Trustworthy Multimodal Learning, exploring the evaluation and trustworthiness of Unified Multimodal Models (UMMs). I completed my B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering at North South University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, the highest academic honor.
Previously, I was a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Daffodil International University and an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at North South University. My academic experience includes teaching programming, algorithms, software engineering, and web engineering, as well as mentoring students and supervising projects.
I am actively exploring Ph.D. opportunities in machine learning and computer vision, particularly in robust and data-efficient learning, multimodal understanding, and trustworthy AI. I welcome opportunities for research collaboration and academic networking.
